Cancellation Policy

1. General

Sara Voyage acts as an intermediary between clients and travel service providers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, transportation companies, cruise lines, insurance providers, and other suppliers. All bookings are subject to the cancellation, amendment, and refund policies of the respective supplier.
Where a specific booking confirmation, contract, or supplier condition differs from this policy, the terms of that booking confirmation or contract shall prevail.

2. Flight Tickets

• Flight cancellations and refunds are governed by the fare rules of the airline that issued the ticket.
• Refund eligibility, cancellation fees, and processing times are determined solely by the airline.
• Certain fare types are non-refundable and non-changeable from the moment of issuance.
• Any service fee charged by Sara Voyage for booking or processing is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

3. Hotel Bookings

• Hotel cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy of the booked property and the rate type selected.
• Refundable rates may be cancelled free of charge, or with a fee, up to the deadline specified in the booking confirmation. Cancellations after that deadline may incur charges of up to the full value of the stay.
• Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded after confirmation, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
• The applicable rate type and cancellation deadline are communicated to the client before the booking is confirmed.

4. Day Tours (Single-Day Tours)

• Cancellations received at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the tour are refunded in full.
• Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the scheduled start of the tour are non-refundable.
• Timings are calculated from the tour’s official departure time as stated in the booking confirmation.

5. Multi-Day Tours (Outbound and Inbound)

Payment schedule
• A deposit of 30–50% of the total tour price is payable at the time of booking, as specified in the booking confirmation.
• The remaining balance is due no later than one (1) month before the tour start date.
• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the booking being treated as a cancellation, with charges applied accordingly.

Cancellation
• Cancellation charges are applied according to the terms of the tour operator or supplier for that specific tour, as communicated at the time of booking.
• Amounts already paid to suppliers on the client’s behalf (including deposits, accommodation prepayments, entrance fees, and transport) may be non-recoverable.

6. Cruises

• Cruise bookings are paid in instalments. An initial partial payment is required to confirm the booking, and the remaining amount is paid in stages as set out in the individual cruise contract.
• Cancellation charges, payment deadlines, and refund conditions are governed by that contract and by the cruise line’s terms.
• Missed instalment payments may result in the cruise line cancelling the booking and applying its standard cancellation charges.

7. Visa Services

• Visa application fees, consular fees, and service fees are non-refundable once the application process has commenced.
• A visa refusal does not entitle the client to a refund of fees already incurred.

8. Transfers, Activities, and Excursions

Cancellation and refund conditions vary depending on the service provider and are communicated at the time of booking.

9. Refunds

• Refunds are processed only after Sara Voyage receives the refunded amount from the relevant supplier, where applicable.
• Processing times vary depending on the supplier, airline, hotel, cruise line, bank, or payment provider.
• Bank charges, currency conversion differences, and payment processing fees may be deducted where applicable.
• Refunds are issued to the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Amendments

Requests to modify bookings are subject to availability and may incur supplier penalties and additional service charges.

11. No-Show

Failure to use a booked service without prior cancellation may result in the loss of the entire booking value, subject to the supplier’s terms.

12. Force Majeure

Sara Voyage is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, strikes, armed conflicts, or other force majeure events. Refunds, where available, will be subject to the policies of the relevant supplier.

13. How to Cancel

All cancellation and amendment requests must be submitted in writing to Sara Voyage. The effective date of cancellation is the date the written request is received during business hours.
