Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at the international airport “Zvartnots”. You will be met by our English – speaking guide and transferred to the hotel. Check-in and accommodation in the hotel. Then you will have a city tour around Yerevan.
Day 2. Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
In the morning after breakfast you will see one of the most ancient buildings in Armenia. It is the only preserved pagan temple on the territory of Armenia- Garni temple situated in the gorge and surrounded with picturesque mountains. You can have lunch in Garni and taste Armenian national dishes. Then you will visit a monastery complex of Geghard which is listed in the World human heritage by UNESCO. Optional: master-class of lavash (Armenian national bread) baking!
Return to Yerevan.
Then you will have a city tour around Yerevan.
Day 3: Yerevan – Sevan – Dilijan- Hagartsin –Yerevan
After breakfast we will proceed to Sevan to admire the blue pearl of Armenia – Lake Sevan, 1900m above the sea level. You will go up the Sevan peninsula and watch St. Astvatsatsin and Apostoles churches (9th C). The next point of our tour is Dilijan, the Armenian Switzerland which is known for its bushy forests, the architectural masterpiece of monastery complex of Hagartsin. You will also visit Parz Lake, located in the Dilijan National Park. “Parz” in Armenian means clear. Next destination will be Tsaghkadzor and Kecharis monastery (11-12th C).We offer you to climb Mount Teghenis (3100 m) by the cable way and admire the beauty of Tsaghkadzor surroundings.
Day 4. Yerevan-Amberd-Byurakan-Voskevaz winery
After breakfast you will proceed to Aragatsotn region. There you will visit Amberd Fortress reflects the severity and splendor of the surrounding mountains. The medieval architecture monument was constructed as a secure fortress and later became the residence of the Pahlavuni noble Armenian family. It has been built of huge slabs of basalt. Then you will have a trip to Aparan square of a Armenian alphabet. After you will visit to the Observatory Byurakan. The next destination is Voskevaz wine factory,wehere you will desustate Armenian wine.
Return to Yerevan.
Day 5. Departure
Transfer to the airport to your flight.
